Amazing food & fab staff!

We found this place after a long journey, and what a treat! The welcome was super warm, and they squeezed us in for lunch without a reservation. The roast sharing platter was massive and sooo delicious. Didn’t break the bank. Only thing was the bar could get a bit crowded at peak times.

We enjoyed the cozy old charm of our room with its claw foot bath, and the lively music from the pub downstairs brought a fun atmosphere. The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a drink, and I loved the local drinks selection. Just be aware that it can get a bit noisy on weekends, but it definitely added to the experience. 🍻

The room had a really cozy atmosphere with antique furniture and exposed beams that gave it a unique character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to fall asleep. The separate bathroom was nice, especially with the fancy clawfoot tub, but it felt a bit small. The only downside was that I noticed some cleanliness issues, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

we had a lovely 4-night stay at the three tuns. the olde worlde pub atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were super helpful with anything we needed. breakfast was a real highlight—superb quality! the location is perfect, just a short stroll from the castle.

Oh my, the atmosphere here made me feel youthful! The charming exposed wooden beams and cozy nooks reminded me of my grandmother's cottage. It was so inviting that I could easily picture myself sipping tea by the fire.

Just spent 2 nights in a snug double room. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Tracy! Enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty and more than enough. Only bummer was not having more food options like burgers or pizza, just fish & chips. Great spot near the castle too!
